Two fundamental principles of Stewardship leading to Outreach
- All that we are and all that we have belongs to God. He is the creator and owner of everything (Psalm 24:1)
- What we have in the way of possesions, resources and our abilities has been entrusted to us by God. We are called to be good stewards of God's Kingdom enabling us to reach out to God's people. (Genesis1:26)
May we walk in the "Shadow of the Cross" in all our relationships.
In John 17: 18-19 Jesus, when praying for his deciples asked His Father to set apart (sanctify) his deciples by the truth, that His word is truth. He said, You sent me into the world, I sent them into the world. He said for them I sanctified myself, that they too may be sanctified.
We Christians are Jesus deciples now! May we be reminded we are ordinary people in an apprenticeship with Jesus. Jesus help us to be sensitive to the teachings of your Spirit.
